Biography

My handle is Rugged Bug, I am 39 years old. I have been a Ham Operator since I was 13 years old. I upgraded my Ham License when I was 17 years old. I received my Commercial Broadcast License when I was 18 years old. I've attended several trade, technical schools and seminars for education in Electrical Engineering Technology and Higher Mathematics. My present collegiate GPA is 4.0 and I still attend from time to time. I have assembled a private library with on site radio electronic equipment. I was employed in the Electrical Shop at the UofM, Ann Arbor MI for 8.5 years where I completed a full 3.5 year apprenticeship in skilled trades. I have many years experience in diagnostic, repair and modification of many types of complex electric and electronic systems including amatuer and commercial broadcast radio equipment. My primary area of expertise is two-way radio equipment. I love to play with CB's and Ham Radio's and Antenna's.
